My tools for reading the Bible in one year
I'll be using this calendar (BibleYear.com), but using the text from YouVersion.com.
I went with the chronological calendar this year because it tries to put the Bible in order of the events that they happened. As a result, it skips around from Genesis, to Job, to Pslams, etc. It helps to make the yearly reading more like reading a novel. (Not to diminish the importance of the Bible, but we all know that it can be a tough read in some places.
YouVersion.com has some pretty cool tools. I like how they give you a journal right along side of the text to take notes. In 2009 they plan on adding the capability to record personal reflections using your web cam. Cool.
YouVersion.com also has an iPhone app and a handy mobile version which works great from your cell phone.
What are you using? Have you ever read the Bible in its entirety? I've done it only once before.
